Hurricane Sandy will contribute an equalization effect by lowering the sea water temperatures. (Note: Sea water temperatures are averaging between 2-3 degrees F above average per 100 yr. historical data.)
This will benefit the US eastern seaboard in the next 3 months based on current meteorological deviation from historical averages.
Sandy Prediction:
- Low inland rainfall totals from FL to SC
- Average inland rainfall in southeastern NC
- Above average rainfall from northeastern NC and southeastern VA
- Extreme rainfall northeastern VA and above
- Low winds FL to SC / Medium winds NC / High winds VA and above
- Extreme storm surge from Connecticut and above
- Snow storms from convergence of Sandy remandments combined with an arctic front anomaly
